every so often stopping-
....old well watering life
In the middle of my workings i'm listening
to the GAP band's 'Yearning For Your Love,'
hearing their refrain: 'Keep running...'
and dads message comes.
...
'you're full of extraordinary things!
.....don't give up!!'
proceeded by his ever-
present smiley face; thingey and for a brief
moment i couldn't do anything but shake my head
and smile. a quick, much needed re-up. a simple
reminder that there are mindblowing things buried
in earth known as me. there are deeper veins
of pure water that haven't been unearthed yet
and it'd do me good to tie those words around
my feet and continue to move, move, move.

parted tomorrows just
to appreciate now
